At the end of the movie “Goodfellas,” mobster Henry Hill wakes up to a day in witness protection in some soulless nowhere of an exurb.
“Today everything is different. There’s no action. I have to wait around like everyone else,” Hill, played by Ray Liotta, complains.
And waiting around like everyone else was just the tip of the iceberg for Hill when it came to the torture of living in witness protection.
