ROCKFORD – The Sept. 26 Lifescape Senior Expo is canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that isn't stopping the organization from trying to get information on services and resources into the hands of Sauk Valley seniors.
Lifescape is putting together a Senior Expo Resource Guide for older adults, caregivers, and families. Instead of walking through the Rock Valley College Physical Education Center and viewing the booths, people will be able to read about these organizations and companies from the comfort of their homes.
The free guide will be posted on social media and also can be emailed upon request once it is completed.
In the meantime, businesses or organizations that would like to advertise or otherwise be in the guide can call Zach Satterlee, fund development and marketing director, at 815-936-1609 before Sept. 6.
Lifescape provides service in eight counties, including Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside. The agency serves older adults through its Meals on Wheels program, Adult Protective Services, Retired and Senior Volunteer program, Adult Day program, Health & Wellness Services, Comprehensive Care Coordination, and Advocacy and Assistance programs.
