On July 6, three new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County area.
One case is a Bureau County man in his 20s and the other two cases are in Marshall County — a man in his 60s and a man is his 20s.
The individuals are recovering in isolation at home.
There are currently 11 active cases in the three-county region.
Since March 23, 44 cases have been reported in the region. Bureau County has had 31 cases; Marshall County has had 12 cases and Putnam County has had one case.
Two cases in the region have resulted in death. One case was a man in his 90s and the other was a man in his 60s.
