The McHenry County Department of Public Health reported 26 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday evening. For the seventh consecutive day, there were no additional deaths related to COVID-19 reported in the county.
This brings countywide totals to 2,145 confirmed cases and 97 related deaths, according to the MCDH.
McHenry County's COVID-19 recovery rate currently is at 94%. According to the county's COVID-19 data hub, the recovery rate represents the percentage of confirmed cases who have not died more than 42 days after testing positive.
On Monday, the Lake County Health Department reported 194 new cases of COVID-19 and five additional deaths. Lake County now is reporting a total of 10,006 confirmed cases and 405 deaths.
Kane County reported 16 new cases on Monday for a total of 7,933 confirmed cases and 277 deaths, according to the Kane County Health Department.
Statewide, the Illinois Department of Public Health has reported a total of 147,865 confirmed cases and 7,026 related deaths as of Monday evening.
Among McHenry County ZIP codes, Woodstock (60098) has reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 362, followed closely by Crystal Lake (60014) with 328.

All other ZIP codes have reported five or fewer cases, according to the MCDH.
