Finally, some good news for Oswego and Montgomery area readers.
The Oswego Public Library District announced in a Facebook post Tuesday, June 30 that it will reopen its two library campuses to limited browsing and computer use beginning next Monday, July 6.
Face masks and social distancing will be required of all patrons when in the Oswego Campus Library at 32 Jefferson Street in downtown Oswego, and at the Montgomery Campus Library at 1111 Reading Drive in Montgomery, according to the post.
The two libraries have been closed to patrons since March due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. The library district, however, has continued to offer limited patron services.
Hours for the week of July 6 are as follows: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Curbside service will still be an option for patrons and some areas of the two libraries may remain closed.
