McHenry County has 10 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, the McHenry County Department of Public Health said Sunday. The county did not see any additional deaths Sunday.

McHenry County has now seen 2,002 confirmed case of the virus since the pandemic began. The county has reported 96 total deaths and two probable COVID-19-related deaths.

MCDH continues to report a 93% recovery rate from COVID-19. Recovered patients are people diagnosed with COVID-19 who were reported to be alive more than 42 days after testing positive. According to the MCDH, asymptomatic cases are excluded from the calculation of the county’s recovery rate.

According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, Lake County saw an additional 91 cases and three deaths over the weekend. IDPH is reporting 9,644 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began and 415 deaths in Lake County.

Kane County reported 16 additional confirmed cases and two additional deaths on Sunday. The Kane County Health Department is reporting 7,683 confirmed cases and 266 deaths since the pandemic began.

Among McHenry County ZIP codes, Woodstock (60098) has reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 334, followed by Crystal Lake (60014) with 307.
