Tri Church, a partnership between the three ELCA Lutheran Congregations, St. John and St. Paul churches in Sterling and Immanuel church in Rock Falls, planned Bouquets of Hope for April 29, an event to raise funds for a generator for Rock River Hospice & Home.

While the pandemic changed these plans, the generosity of our community did not change.

Items donated from local businesses and Tri Church members contributed to the June 1-5 online auction. Thrivent members designated over $11,000 in Choice Dollars to the project. Several community members generously earmarked funds for the generator. In additional, Arthur’s Garden Deli contributed $5,000 in matching funds.

Nearly $28,000 was raised for Rock River Hospice & Home.

Tri Church expresses extreme gratitude to our community for their overwhelming support of the generator project. We, too, are grateful for the compassionate care provided by Rock River Hospice & Home to our family members and friends, church members and neighbors.
