AURORA – The curfew has been extended for the city of Aurora and will begin at 8:30 p.m. tonight and end at 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the city. Residents are asked to remain at home and to only travel for employment during the curfew hours.
In addition, all I-88 entrances for Aurora will be closed during the curfew, and residential or employment identification is necessary to enter.
Entering into the downtown area is prohibited during the curfew without residential or employment identification, and strict travel restrictions are in place at Fox Valley Mall. Residents are asked to avoid the area, the release stated.
