Oswego police are seeking a suspect in a retail theft and hit and run crash that resulted in an injury to a clerk at a gas station and convenience store at 6:57 a.m. May 31 in the 1100 block of Route 34.

Police said a woman driving a maroon Nissan Maxima stole a bottle of alcohol from the store and then drove off, injuring the clerk with her vehicle.

The clerk, a 51 year-old man, was transported to an area hospital.

Police said the suspect drove eastbound on Route 34 after leaving the store.

The suspect is described by police as a white female, about 30 years-old old and five feet, four inches tall. The suspect has blue eyes and has a small build. She was wearing a red shirt with the word "Pink" on it and black shorts.
