KANE COUNTY – Illinois public health officials reported 79 new cases of COVID-19 in Kane County in Sunday.

The total number of cases in the county is now 6,338. The latest deaths are a man in his 50s and a woman in her 90s.

Officials reported a total of 120,260 cases across the state, including 5,390 deaths. Within the past 24 hours, laboratories have reported 21,154 specimens for a total of 898,259.
