In-state warrant

Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop at 7:26 p.m. May 24 in the 6500 block of Route 34 in unincorporated Oswego. Contact was made with Tyra Marie Mason, 22, of the 700 block of Regent Drive, DeKalb, who was wanted on three DeKalb County failure-to-appear warrants for charges including obstructing, possession of a firearm and driving while license suspended. Kendall County Sheriff’s officials previously have declined releasing additional information regarding what actions result in driving while license suspended charges. Bond was set at $3,000, with 10% to apply, for each separate warrant for Mason.

Battery

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at 8:38 p.m. May 22 in the 100 block of Harbor Drive in unincorporated Oswego Township for a report of a battery. The investigation continues.

Protection order violation

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Autumn R. Ramsey, 35, of the 10000 block of Heggs Road, Oswego Township, at 9:59 p.m. May 20 in a parking lot in Silver Springs State Park in the 14000 block of Fox Road in Fox Township. Police said Ramsey was charged with violation of an order of protection. Police said Ramsey was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Property damage reported

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of criminal damage to property and theft at 9:41 p.m. May 21 in the 0-99 block of West Anchor Drive in unincorporated Oswego Township. Police said their investigation is continuing.

Domestic battery

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of a domestic battery that occurred at 5:42 p.m. May 20 in the 2400 block of Douglas Road in Oswego Township. Police said there were no injuries in the incident and they are continuing their investigation.

Aggravated assault

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at 5:33 p.m. May 19 in the 100 block of Harbor Drive in unincorporated Oswego Township for a report of a domestic violence. After investigation, Armon D. Visor, 22, of the same block, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault. Visor was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. The investigation still continues.

No valid driver’s license

Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop at 12:02 p.m. May 19 on Route 52 and Brisbin Road in unincorporated Seward Township for failure to yield at a stop intersection. The driver, J. Jesus Muniz-Ramirez, 21, of the 600 block of North Broadway Street, Joliet, was cited for no valid driver’s license, along with failure to yield at a stop intersection. Muniz-Ramirez was issued a recognizance bond and released with an upcoming court date.
