BOULDER HILL – Kendall County Sheriff's officials have released more information on a shots fired incident that occurred early Monday, May 11 morning in Boulder Hill.

Sheriff's officials said in a Monday news release that deputies took a report of shots fired at 1:39 a.m. May 11 in the 0-99 block of Scarsdale Road.

Sheriff's officials said in the Monday news release no injuries were reported and the incident does not appear to be a random act.

"The scene was processed, witnesses were interviewed, and evidence was collected, and the investigation thus far has led to the belief that this is a targeted incident," sheriff's officials wrote in the Monday release.

There was no mention of any arrests made or charges issued in connection with the incident within the Monday news release.

Sheriff's police wrote they are continuing their investigation.
