The Chicago Bears have signed veteran wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. to a one-year deal, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

The 35-year-old speedster spent the previous three seasons with the New Orleans Saints. Last season, Ginn played in all 16 games with nine starts, hauling in 30 receptions for 421 yards and two touchdowns.

In his 13-year career, Ginn has 409 catches for 5,702 yards and 33 TDs. A former first-round pick of the Miami Dolphins, Ginn has also played for the San Francisco 49ers, Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals.

Ginn could provide the Bears with another speed threat. Bears GM Ryan Pace also selected speedy wide receiver Darnell Mooney, who ran a 4.38 40 at the combine, in the fifth round of last week's NFL draft.
