ROCK FALLS – The food pantry at Rock River Christian Center, 1800 Prophet Road, is holding a drive-thru, low-contact food drive, open to anyone, from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday.

Donations of nonperishable foods and toilet paper are welcome.

Saturday, Happy Tails Humane Society will hold a pet food drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or while supplies last, in its parking lot at 1408 McNeil Road.

Last Saturday, the shelter distributed 1,200 pounds of dog food alone in its first coronavirus-related giveaway.
