Montgomery police arrested a juvenile at 1:23 a.m. Feb. 16 in the 100 block of Red Fox Run while responding to a call to check the well-being of an individual found asleep behind the steering wheel of a vehicle.
Police said officers determined the juvenile was impaired by drugs and he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and felony charges of possession with intent to deliver between 500 and 2,000 grams of marijuana, and possession of between 500 and 2,000 grams of marijuana.
In addition, police said the juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana in an unapproved container within a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was also cited for operating a motor vehicle outside of GDL (Graduated Driver's License) limitations, no front license plate, no front bumper and a curfew violation.
The juvenile was transported to the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center in St. Charles pending court proceedings.
