Two McHenry County teens went missing Tuesday, according to a message posted Thursday on the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.

Eva Buxton, 16, and Colton Adeszko, 16, both were last seen Tuesday in the Johnsburg area. Adeszko’s black 2006 Honda Civic, with an Illinois license plate of Z299962, also is missing. Sheriff’s officials did not disclose in which towns the teens live.

The two are believed to be together, according to authorities, but they didn’t specify the nature of any relationship the two might have.

Deputy Sandra Rogers, a sheriff’s office spokeswoman, said Thursday that she was unable to provide further information at this time regarding the teens’ disappearances. The sheriff’s office is asking the public’s help to find the pair.

Buxton is 5-foot-5, 120 pounds and has brown eyes, brown hair and braces. She last was seen wearing a green plaid jacket. Adeszko is 5-foot-6, 110 pounds and has blue eyes, sandy blond hair and wears glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office at 815-338-2144.
